Information

The Droppings sampling kit has been developed for rapid and easy sample collection, requiring less than one minute per sample while minimizing the risk of cross-contamination between sampling sites. Samples collected with this kit can be stored for several months at room temperature without the need for cooling or freezing. The preservation solution contains a synthetic DNA internal positive control (IPC), which can be used in combination with the quality control assays included in the Environmental DNA isolation kits (SYL002-20-113, SYL002-50-113, and SYL002-100-113) to verify successful sample preservation and DNA extraction.
